Allyn International Donates to Foster Care Advisory Services

FORT MYERS, Fla. (January 21, 2015) – Allyn International Services, Inc. (Allyn) employees supported Foster Care Advisory Service’s this past quarter by hosting several fundraisers, donating money, and purchasing Christmas gifts for those children in need. Allyn matches all charitable contributions, dollar for dollar, resulting in more than $3,200 contribution to Foster Care Advisory Services.

Allyn has a history of giving back to the local community of Southwest Florida and has integrated contribution as one of its’ eight corporate values. In addition to choosing Foster Care Advisory Services as the charity Allyn would sponsor, the company generously “adopted” 100 children within the local SWFL community by purchasing gifts from a wish list they created so these children in need could have a Christmas they so deserve. The cash funds raised will go to support local foster families in immediate need. The proceeds from these events, combined with Allyn's matching funds, have generated more than $150,000 distributed to charitable organizations since 1992.

Foster Care Advisory Services has over twenty years of helping neglected and abused children and the families in our local communities. Founded in 1984, Foster Care Advisory Services have been able to provide additional support for foster children and their care givers. As a result, the length of time a family fosters has increased – some families have provided care for twenty years or more.
