August 15, 2025: Expanded Steel & Aluminum tariffs announced effective August 18
August 11,2025: U.S. & China Tariff Truce Extended 90-Days
June 28, 2025: If importers do not know the country of smelt and/or cast, they can report "unknown" in lieu of providing the ISO code. This will result in a 200% tariff rate that corresponds to aluminum from Russia
May 30, 2025: President Trump announces a 25% tariff increase on steel & aluminum to begin June 4
May 28, 2025: US Court of International Trade rules IEEPA tariffs are unlawful
May 26, 2025: EU tariffs are delayed until July 9
May 12, 2025: IEEPA Reciprocal Tariff for China reduced to 10% for 90 days
May 3, 2025: 25% tariff on automobile parts goes into effect
May 2, 2025: De minimus exemption ends for imports from China
April 10,2025: Adjusted reciprocal tariffs are paused for 90 days. All countries will have 10% reciprocal tariffs (except China at 125%).
April 9, 2025: Reciprocal tariffs go into effect
April 5, 2025: 10% tariff on all countries goes into effect
March 12, 2025: 25% tariffs on steel and aluminum go into effect
March 6, 2025: 25% tariff against Mexico and Canada exclusion announced ONLY for items qualifying under USMCA
March 4, 2025: 10% tariff against Canadian energy products; 10% tariff against Mexican & Canadian potash; 25% tariff against all other Canadian & Mexican products goes into effect
March 4, 2025: IEEPA Fentanyl 20% tariff on Chinese products goes into effect
March 1, 2025: Report from the Secretary of Commerce investigating the need for tariffs or sanctions on imports of timber and lumber
February 13, 2025: White House memo announced an investigation on "reciprocal tariffs" to be completed on April 1, 2025
February 10, 2025: 25% tariffs against steel and aluminum announced to go into effect March 12, 2025

February 3, 2025: Tariffs against Mexico and Canada postponed for a month
