2014 Group Of The Year

FORT MYERS, Fla. (March 16, 2015) –Allyn International Services Inc. (Allyn) has recently been nominated by the Salvation Army, Lee County branch, as the 2014 Group of The Year for their outstanding contribution to the Salvation Army. Allyn raised just under $3,500.00 in only seven days of participating in the Red Kettle Bell Ringing.

“Allyn has a long history of contributing to the local community. We are proud to be heavily involved in making a difference for those lives in need. The Salvation Army is a joy to work with and we look forward to working with them again in many years to come,” states Allen Trevett, Allyn CEO.

In the fourth quarter of 2014, Allyn chose to support the Salvation Army with their Red Kettle Bell Ringing for the second year in a row. Contribution is an important value of Allyn and allowing employees the chance to volunteer their time out in the community was truly treasured. Employees were able to put a smiling face to the company name and collect funds for local families in need.

Allyn team members, Reed Struxness, Logistics Specialist, and Mathieu Plaisance, Global Trade Compliance Specialist (see photo), represented Allyn at the All-star Breakfast on March 9th  held by the Salvation Army. Both Struxness and Plaisance proudly accepted the award for Allyn.
