New Alliance Levels the Playing Field in Transportation Sourcing
Posted on February 17, 2026
Fort Myers, FL — February 17, 2026 — The Logistics Purchasers Alliance (LPA) has launched to help qualified businesses gain access to transportation pricing and carrier alignment typically available only to the largest shippers.
As transportation costs continue to fluctuate, many organizations face a common challenge: rising complexity and pricing pressure without the volume required to secure favorable long-term agreements. LPA addresses this gap by aggregating committed freight volume across vetted member organizations, allowing participants to approach the market with greater collective scale.
Members maintain full control over their transportation strategies and commercial decisions. The alliance provides the framework and scale needed to support more competitive sourcing outcomes.
Developed in response to recurring requests for short-term negotiation support, the alliance offers a more durable alternative—one focused on sustained leverage rather than isolated cost reductions.
Membership is invitation-based and subject to screening. LPA is currently collecting letters of intent from prospective founding members, with initial market engagement expected to begin in 2026 following volume validation.
