Allyn International Hosts Soccer Match

PRAGUE (April 7, 2015) – On Thursday, March 26th, Allyn International Services, Inc. (Allyn) hosted a soccer match with a local orphanage, Dětský domov se školou v Praze 2.  This soccer match was an additional portion of Allyn's continued partnership with the orphanage that started last autumn with a significant charity donation.

The teenage players were a competitive match for even the more experienced Allyn team players. The children received a new soccer ball as a reward for their efforts. According to Jan Smolka, the principal of the orphanage, the match brought a sports team experience to the children, which most lack in their day to day lives. “It was also about the youngsters meeting and welcoming people who are interested in them as partners, not just kids,” adds Smolka.

In the past, Allyn's Prague employees also joined the Czech Day against Cancer, gathered Christmas gifts, toys and clothes for abandoned children, helped young patients with diabetes or supported the Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) organization. The proceeds from these and other events, combined with Allyn's matching funds, have generated almost 120,000 Czech crowns distributed to charitable organizations since 2005.
