Allyn International Donates To Local Charity

Posted on July 25, 2014

FORT MYERS, Fla. (July 25, 2014) – Allyn International Services, Inc. (Allyn) employees supported the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida (CAC) this past quarter by hosting several fundraisers. Allyn partnered with Chick-Fil-A to host Spirit Night, where Chick-Fil-A donated 15 percent of the proceeds. Allyn team members hosted small events throughout the quarter to raise awareness and collect donations. Allyn matches all charitable contributions, dollar for dollar, resulting in more than $2,600 contribution to the CAC.
“I was honored when Allyn chose the Children’s Advocacy Center to sponsor this quarter," said Nicole Roussel, an Allyn employee and fundraising lead for the quarter. “If your organization or business ever needs a lesson in teamwork, ask Allyn to show you how it is done. The CAC was very impressed with Allyn's values and how their staff truly lives them each day."

Allyn has a history of giving in Southwest Florida. Every quarter, employees nominate a charity to support and hold various fundraisers such as bake sales, silent auctions and chili cook-offs. The proceeds from these events, combined with Allyn's matching funds, have generated more than $140,000 distributed to charitable organizations since 1992.

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida promotes child protection and medical services by providing crisis intervention services to children abused or neglected by a caretaker or non-caretaker. These services include medical examinations and evaluations, forensic interviews, family assessments, psychological evaluations, expert court testimony and community trainings – all while staff is on-call 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.
