Allyn International Contributes more than $5,500 and over 7,000 items to Local Charity

FORT MYERS, Fla. (January 31, 2023) – Allyn International (Allyn), a local supply chain consulting firm, has donated $5,552 and 7,351 items to Cape Coral Bootstrap Homeless Ministry. The company holds an annual internal competition called CanStruction. Each quarter at Allyn, an employee is given the opportunity to raise funds for a nonprofit of their choice. For Allyn’s fourth quarter of the year, the fundraiser for Cape Coral Bootstrap is run by Allyn employee, Libby Simon-Holschbach, where canned food and other items are collected and donated by other employees. This event has been held annually for over ten years and it let’s the employees use their creativity in teams to use their creativity to raise money for the organization.

Cape Coral Bootstrap Homeless Ministry, Inc. (Cape Coral Bootstrap) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization providing meals and other services to area residents in need. Their mission statement is “to provide a meal and a prayer to our hungry neighbors, and to help create opportunities for those in need to pull themselves up by their bootstraps.” The president of Cape Coral Bootstrap is Libby Simon-Holschbach, also an Allyn team member for more than 10 years.
