Allyn International Contributes more than $4,600 to Local Charity

FORT MYERS, Fla. (April 22, 2022) – Allyn International (Allyn), a local supply chain consulting firm, has donated more than $4,600 to The Salvation Army. Each quarter at Allyn, an employee is given the opportunity to raise funds for a nonprofit of their choice. For Allyn’s first quarter of the year, The Salvation Army was chosen and run by Allyn employee, Chris Poole. Chris set up a variety of fundraising events for the employees to contribute including a BBQ and charity poker night.
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. The Salvation Army is serving more people in the United States than ever before. They are already seeing large increases in the number of Americans seeking necessities of life – food, shelter, and warmth. Approximately 30 million people received help from the Salvation Army last year.
