FORT MYERS, Fla. (November 18, 2013) - Team members at Allyn International Services, Inc. (Allyn) showed their "can-do" attitude recently by donating food items and money to local charity, Cape Coral Bootstrap Homeless Ministry.

Cape Coral Bootstrap Homeless Ministry, Inc. (Cape Coral Bootstrap) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization providing meals and other services to area residents in need. Their mission statement is “to provide a meal and a prayer to our hungry neighbors, and to help create opportunities for those in need to pull themselves up by their bootstraps.” The president of Cape Coral Bootstrap is Libby Simon-Holschbach, also an Allyn team member for more than 10 years.

Allyn team members participated in "Can-struction" contests, where teams used donated food goods to make pictures and sculptures. In just 90 days, three pickup trucks full of food were donated after teams showed off their art-worthy projects. In addition to food collection – massage services, silent auctions, bake sales pushed cash donations in excess of $1000. Allyn matches all charitable contributions for $3785 donated to Cape Coral Bootstrap.
