Allyn donates funds to Muscular Dystrophy Association

Posted on April 30, 2014

FORT MYERS, Fla. (April 30, 2014) - Team members at Allyn International Services, Inc. (Allyn) showed their generosity and bigheartedness recently by making a contribution to the Muscular Dystrophy Association's local chapter.

Allyn employees supported the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) by hosting bake sales and boxed lunch projects in addition to joining an MDA fundraising walk. Allyn matches all charitable contributions, dollar for dollar, resulting in a $2000 contribution to MDA.

“Contribution is an Allyn corporate value,” commented Allen Trevett, CEO of Allyn. “Contributing to the community is important, whether it's a monetary donation, donating blood or volunteering your time. At Allyn, we live our values every day.”

Allyn has a history of giving in Southwest Florida. Every quarter, employees nominate a charity to support and hold various fundraisers such as bake sales, silent auctions and chili cook-offs. The proceeds from these events, combined with Allyn's matching funds, have generated more than $140,000 distributed to charitable organizations since 1992.
