New Report in ACE for Rejected Refunds

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has created new reports in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) that allows users to track rejected refunds:

  • REV-603 Trade Refund Report – Filer
    • This report shows refunds rejected “solely due to failure to provide CBP with the necessary banking information to effectuate the electronic refund”

  • REV-613 ACH Rejected Refunds
    • This report shows refunds rejected if an issue with ACE bank account information causes a bank to return the refund

These reports are especially useful as CBP has fully transitioned away from issuing refunds via paper checks beginning February 6, 2026, and are part of the series of initiatives CBP has effected to manage the refunds owed to US importers in the wake of the SCOTUS decision overturning the IEEPA tariffs. On March 12, in a letter to the Court of International Trade (CIT), CBP announced the development of a new ACE module called CAPE, the Consolidated Administration and Processing of Entries designed to manage and disburse the refunds.
