United State of America Domestic Trucking Overview – Updated 04.13.2020
Depending on the state your items are being shipped from and to will determine whether you will pay more or less to transport goods. Our research and analysis show an overall decline in load requests and many carriers are proactively searching for cargo to transport, particularly within the LTL sector.

Key findings:

  • Demand has dropped, mainly due to a reduction in replenishment shipments and non-essential business closures
  • Dry van rates largely dropped however a few high-volume lanes saw a slight increase ($0.01 to $0.08) per mile
  • Remains very fluid

Our operations and consulting teams are working diligently and will continue to offer alternative solutions to move your cargo in the most cost-effective and efficient way possible.
