Allyn’s LYN Chatbot Built with Data Security and Control at the Core
As businesses increasingly turn to artificial intelligence to improve efficiency and access to information, data security remains a critical consideration. Allyn International’s LYN chatbot was designed with this priority in mind, utilizing an architecture that keeps the solution and its data within Allyn’s controlled technology environment.
Unlike AI solutions that may rely on publicly accessible platforms or external infrastructure, LYN is hosted entirely within Allyn’s internal network. Allyn owns and controls the servers, underlying code, AI model, and data supporting the solution, allowing the company to maintain direct oversight of the technology and information processed through it.
“Data security is fundamental to how we approached the development of LYN,” said Alex Murillo, Chief Technology Officer at Allyn International. “The entire LYN environment is hosted within our own network. Data moves between servers within our controlled environment, giving us direct oversight of the infrastructure and how information is accessed and handled.”
Access to the LYN environment is also restricted. Authorized development contractors do not receive unrestricted or permanent access to the servers. Access is controlled and limited as needed, with contractors additionally subject to formal agreements and confidentiality requirements, including NDAs.
This approach provides Allyn with greater control over the LYN environment while supporting the confidentiality and protection of client information.
