Coronavirus Update - February 9

Workers at the largest airport in the UK are planning to strike on February 9, 13, 16 and 18. Unite union workers at London Heathrow Airport are in dispute with airport officials over an announced pay-cut for engineering, airside operations and security employees. The airport will remain operational but coupled with post-Brexit challenges, increased COVID
infections and now a reduced workforce delays are likely.
The following tables will provide the current cargo transport operational status and capacity levels for heavily affected countries.
- Capacity is limited from Australia to the Americas, Asia Pacific, and Europe. Minor container shortages.
- Capacity is very low from Japan across all trade lanes. Major container shortages.
- Capacity is low from South Korea to Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa, the Americas, and the Middle East. Major container shortages.
- Capacity is low from Brazil across all trade lanes. Minor to medium container shortages.
- Capacity is very low or not available from India across all trade lanes. Major container shortages.
- Capacity is very low from Singapore across all trade lanes. Major container shortages.
- Capacity is limited from the UAE across all trade lanes. Little to no container shortages.
