Allyn presents at EU Wind Energy Forum

Allyn International Services, Inc. (Allyn) has been chosen as a presenter at the European Wind Energy Conference (EWEC) being held April 20 - 23, 2010 in Warsaw, Poland.  Presentation topics were submitted by industry participants and reviewed by EWEC.  Allyn’s presentation - Wind Energy Packaging Design and Reverse Logistics Management - was accepted in the “supply chain” category.

Along with the presentation, a white paper will be submitted and published in the conference proceedings.  Allyn also created a poster, illustrating key points from the white paper, which will be on display during the conference.  Matthew Paul, supply chain consultant, and Mike Smyers, business development manager, co-authored the white paper.  Allyn personnel will be on hand at the conference to present the poster on April 22nd 2010.

Allyn has first hand experience with wind energy transportation and reverse logistics.  Since 2003, they have managed the delivery of over 3,000 complete wind turbine generators (WTG) globally.  In addition, Allyn has assisted customers with the design and implementation of wind turbine component packaging as well as reverse logistics management programs.  Please see our Wind Energy logistics highlights page for further information.

EWEC, organized by the European Wind Energy Association, is Europe’s largest combined wind energy conference and exhibition bringing together business leaders, policy makers and stakeholders from all over Europe to debate key developments in the wind industry.  EWEC 2010 is sold out with over 4,000 registered attendees and 250 exhibitors.
