More Updates to Allyn’s ALA Touch Mobile App

Allyn International's Allyn Logistics Application (ALA) has long been one of the most efficient and useful TMS software solutions available, due to its comprehensive functionality and flexibility. And while ALA's standard functionality provides in depth tracking information a number of ways, via email tracking reports and an online tracking search, use has traditionally required a computer and an internet connection. The issue is that all our customers are not always at their desks when they need tracking information.

Allyn has developed and released the mobile application ALA Touch, just for this reason. Now field technicians, site material coordinators, or any other person can know the status and ETA of their freight, quickly, easily and without having to access email or a website. 

The newest release of Allyn International’s ALA Touch mobile app gives the user the ability to conduct an advanced search utilizing a variety of criteria.  In addition, it provides the means for the user to receive push notifications in response to shipment delays or status changes.

The advanced search has been updated to enable the user to search shipments using the any of the below measures:

Bill of Lading (BOL)
Purchase Order (PO)
House Airway Bill (HAWB)
Invoice number
Pro number
Sales Order (SO)
Reference number
Part number.
Span of pickup or delivery dates
City or origin or destination
Status (pending, picked up, delivered)

The second updated functionality involves push notifications. Tracking notifications can now be sent to your phone if there are delays with the shipment or if there is a tracking event such as pickup or delivery.
